Perfect for people who want to spend
their holiday in complete relax walking around the surrounding country-side and for those who love reading and
studying in quiet surroundings, but for those who love fun and excitement, there is very near the town of Alghero,
famous for its streets where in summer time a lot of tourists flow to enjoy discos and pubs..

Alghero, situated on the North-west coast
of Sardinia, is considered the capital of Riviera del Corallo, and represents a site of great historical, naturalist
and architectonic interest. Thanks to its beautiful unaffected landscapes it is renowned in the world as a tourist
centre.
For those who love the sea and the beaches the
choice is extremely various: the beaches of Bombarde and Lazzareto stretch along the cliffs and inlets of the bay.
Going on toward the same direction, we can find the bay of Porto Conte. The bay is a proper natural harbour, whose
waters, usually very calm, are ideal for swimming and scuba-diving. Also in this area is the beach Mugoni with its
pinewood.
10 kilometres far from the town we can find the
nuragic complex of Palmavera, a site dominated by a central nuraghe built with a structure of the kind “a double
tower”, around which are present about fifty huts of circular shape. The main tower date back in 1100 B.C., while the
secondary tower, was added in the VIII century B.C.
