The Agritourism Barbagia presents a tasting of typical dishes from Sardinian cuisine made according to the recipes of the traditional cuisine.

The rich menu starts with a starter of salami, cheese and in-oil products. It continues with tasty homemade first courses; ravioli Barbagia and malloredus (semolina dumplings) with tomato sauce and sausage, the Culurgiones (ravioli filled with mint-flavoured cheese), and the famous bread Frattau, typical dish from Nuoro,and the delicious Lorihas with sausage sauce.

It is excellent to taste the porcetto (suckling pig) cooked on stick in the fireplace following the Sardinian tradition, as much you will find delicious the fresh sausages on stick and the veal roast. The lamb instead are presented in various ways: with potatoes, artichokes, wild fennels and thyme.

The garden is always active and the several fruit trees of the farm will always make you taste fresh fruit and vegetables. At the end of the meal in order to delight your taste, the Agritourism Barbagia brings to the table the famous typical Sardinian desserts and the Sevadas (fried pastry filled with ricotta, in honey), served together with a good glass of a liquor made by myrtle berries and a glass of a lemon liquor called Limoncello or a liquor of corbezzolo (a kind of red berry) all of them homemade by the experience of Pirisi brothers.
